EMBROIDERY

In April 2023, I took on the role of Store Manager and Embroidery Machine Operator at Square Alterations and Monogramming in Oxford, MS. In this position, I efficiently operated several multi-head sewing machines to embroider custom designs on a wide range of garments. I also organized, managed, and completed annual orders for the University of Mississippi sports teams’ and academic programs, apparel for the SEC, as well as businesses and organizations in North Mississippi.​One of my favorite parts of this job was producing high-quality, unique monograms and personalized artwork for customers. This involved consulting with customers about their wants and needs, designing the art work accordingly, selecting thread colors, and determining the correct size and placement. Each customer left with an item that was personal and unique to them, which gave me a lot of room for creativity.
